COVID-19: UPDATE (10/08/21)

Dear Church,

After 17 months of meeting online, I am delighted to let you know that we will be able to worship together in person very soon. Following Scotland’s move “beyond level 0” on 9th August, the church leadership has prayerfully decided that a phased return to the church building is the best approach.

From Sunday 22nd August at 10:30am we will return to in-person Sunday Services at the church building. However, the services will continue to be transmitted on Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person.

Information for those attending in person:

  • There is no need to prebook, however, you must provide contact details on arrival (which will be stored for 21 days).
  • Social distancing is no longer required.
  • Singing is permitted; however, face coverings must be worn indoors by anyone 12 years of age and over, subject to exemptions.
  • Please continue giving your tithes and offerings via bank transfer or PayPal, if possible, but giving envelopes will be available.
  • Sunday school will be provided for children.
  • Please bring your own refreshments, as teas and coffees will not be provided initially

Our midweek meetings will continue to be held via Zoom until further notice. Our weekly Bible Study will resume on Tuesday 17th August at 7pm on Zoom. The Bible Study will continue to be recorded and accessible on our website. Our weekly Prayer Meetings will resume on Thursday 19th August at 7pm on ZoomIf you are interested in joining these meetings, please email us at elgin@cogscotland.org or send us a WhatsApp message at 07828 321 993. You will then receive the Zoom link.

I look forward to seeing you online this Sunday 15th August. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or pastoral needs.

God bless you all,

Pastor Manuel

COVID-19: UPDATE (18/03/20)

Dear Church,

Pastor Manuel and the Church Council have made the decision to suspend all public gathering at the church’s facilities, in line with Government guidelines regarding COVID-19.

This means that until further notice we shall suspend:

  • Mothers and Toddlers
  • Prayer Meetings
  • Bible Studies
  • Sunday Services

However, starting from this Sunday 22nd March 2020, we will offer an online video of Pastor Manuel delivering a message. We are also considering ways of doing an online Bible Study, possibly as of next week. More details to follow in the next few days.

We understand that this is an unprecedented time for everyone. We endeavour to continue ministering to the church in the best way possible, despite the challenges we are facing. If you have a need, question, or prayer request, please message us.
